Marguerite Bourgeoys

Today we read a story about Marguerite Bourgeoys. She was the first teacher in Canada. She made taffy to attract aboriginals to come to school. Every 25^th of November, many French-Canadians students read about Marguerite Bourgeoys and make taffy. Today we read and discussed this celebration with Madame Dagenais 1/2 class.  We will be making taffy on Monday. Yum!!!
